Banana Cake

Ingredients

1 Cup sugar

½ lb. butter

2 eggs

1 Teaspoon baking soda in 5 tablespoons sour cream

2 bananas mashed in Cuisinart

2 Cups flour

1 Teaspoons vanilla

1 Teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Alternate flour and sour cream. Add baking powder and vanilla. Add mashed banana. Bake on 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes in greased rectangular pan.

Frosting:

Melt about 1/8 lb. butter and 1 ½ squares unsweetened chocolate. Mix in Cuisinart with powdered sugar, a speck of milk and a touch of vanilla until the correct consistency. Spread on cool cake.

Alice doesn't like the chocolate frosting but everyone else does!
